Si Si's Room Box at the Foo Tak Building in Wan Chai｜Starting from Sewing Bears

Si Si was an influential writer in the Chinese literary world. After her passing in 2022, her close friend collected her furniture, belongings, literary manuscripts, and more from her former residence, preserving her precious cultural legacy. This year marks the third anniversary of Si Si's passing, and the Si Si Foundation has established the first space in her memory, the 'Si Si Space', which partially recreates her former residence. The furniture, items, and collectibles in her living room have been faithfully restored, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the cultural atmosphere of Si Si's daily life. On display are bear plushies hand-sewn by Si Si herself, along with the clothing and accessories she made for them. The venue will also exclusively sell 《Si Si Chronicle》, edited by Ho Fuk Yan, the most detailed and exquisite Sino-English 'chronicle' of Si Si's life to date.
